Welcome to Supervillain Summer Camp, future supervillains and masters of mayhem!
We have a week of activities designed to fully explore your potential for evil, cunning, leadership and gadgetry. Under the tutelage of your illustrious counselors, you will create doomsday machines, explore international negotiations, participate in a coup (or two), excel in advanced scheming, and of course the real game, surviving the machinations of your fellow campers and staff.
As you may be aware, the Superhero Camp is across the lake...of fire. You are required to cause as much trouble as possible as well as take notes on response times and techniques. Today's camper is tomorrow's nemesis.
Camp uniforms and bedding will be provided in accordance to your assigned lair. Henchmen, Igors, robot servants and Renfields are already in your assigned lairs. We suggest you pack the following:
"Conflict is an inevitable part of life," and we at Supervillain camp embrace this concept wholeheartedly. Studied by politicians and CEOs as well as military leaders, this book is essential reading for all campers.
How to Win Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie
If there's any skill a successful supervillain needs, it's how to charm the pants off your target in order to get what you need. Whether it's gathering henchmen or getting the appropriate zoning laws changed so they can build their crystal palace-styled lair in the middle of suburbia, campers will be using the tactics learned in this 80 year old book still in print today.
Nick and Tesla's High-Voltage Danger Lab by Bob Pflugfelder and Steve Hockensmith
By studying the heroic stories of good overcoming evil, you will understand the hero's motivations and weaknesses. A competent schemer can twist theses heroic tropes to dupe the public and increase the strife of their enemies. This story also includes blueprints for gadgets. Use them as a starting point for building better inventions to counter your enemies.

Every budding genius needs the appropriate tools to learn their trade and home chemistry sets are a must! Creativity and access are the keys to new inventions. Shadowy parental figures should make sure their campers have a fully stocked library of chemicals to use in their experiments. PLEASE NOTE: Campers using Mr. A.C. Gilbert's Atomic Energy Lab will need to secure their samples of Uranium 238 in the lead-lined storage unit behind the mess hall.
Just like chemistry, every little genius needs to understand the fundamentals of electricity to invent devices for world domination campaigns. PLEASE NOTE: While borrowing design ideas without express written permission from their peers is acceptable and even encouraged, campers are not allowed to pull a Thomas Edison and take credit for the work of any budding Teslas.

It's really up to you how you want to threaten your enemies, so pack your weapon of choice. We here at Camp Supervillain will make sure you're well-versed in how to use it. We have gun and archery ranges if you prefer firearms or fletched weapons, a jousting course if you're into the more medieval instruments of pain, and an authentic cityscape to practice urban combat with edged weapons and throwing stars. You bring the implement; we'll show you how to wield them.
