GIVEAWAY: Iron Night

Yesterday, Meghan named some books that she is looking forward to this fall. Another I would add to the list is TAINTED BLOOD, the third Generation V novel by M. L. Brennan. I really liked GENERATION V and the character progression and action in the second book, IRON NIGHT, propelled this series onto my auto-buy list. Vampires, kitsune, loads of things that go bump in the night, and one of the most dysfunctional families I've enjoyed reading, this series is wonderfully, magnificently effed up. If you want to know more about why I adore this series so much, you can read my interview with Brennan here.

Now you can win your own signed author copy of IRON NIGHT! Brennan is giving away a copy of this very excellent book to one of our lucky readers.

It's easy to enter, just let us know in the comments one of the books you've enjoyed this summer. For an extra entry, tweet your response (be sure to @StellarFour) and/or let us know on our Facebook page. The winner will be announced next Thursday, August 7. (US only, folks. Sorry, but shipping costs are very high.)

I asked Brennan for her favorite read so far this summer, and she picked V.E. Schwab's VICIOUS. It is an excellent choice - the characters and world in Schwab's superhero/supervillain showdown are thrilling. I am so looking forward to future books.

My favorite book read this summer is part of next week's posts. I will say that it is set in LA and involves horrible things happening to a certain unlucky necromancer.

What's your favorite read this summer? Let us know for your chance to win IRON NIGHT!

  1. I've just started the Jaz Parks series by Jennifer Rardin and have been enjoying getting into the world and snark of the character. I'm looking forward to some Rob Thurman in my TBR pile. I love the Leandros Brothers series and am waiting to get my hands on a copy of her latest so I can dive in.

  2. Oh! Jaz Parks is awesome! It's so tragic that Rardin died so young. I can't pick a summer favorite! That would mean choosing between The Book of Life, Magic Breaks, Cast in Flame,Shaman Rises, Last Impressions, and How the White Trash Zombie got her Groove Back. Plus it would leave out all of August's and September's awesome releases.

  3. My TBR stack is mighty and I haven't gotten through all of it yet, but so far my favorite is a tie between Stephen Blackmoore's Dead Things and Brian McClellan's Promise of Blood.
