Darth Ballerina

by Megan S.

Gnuh.  That's the sound of my brain imploding because this is just so perfect.  It's a Darth Vader Tutu because, obviously, Sith Lord would make any ballet better. OH MY GOD, IMAGINE SWAN LAKE WITH LIGHTSABERS!

(Ummm, is it weird to want a tutu even though I'm an adult that has a better chance of wielding the Force than standing on my toes for any length of time?)

The tutu is available from Jennifer Walchli over on Etsy.

  1. I see no reason that someone couldn't make a similar apron. I wield the Force ... in the kitchen.

  4. I could totally make that apron! One modification would be removing the tulle tutu since that seems like the opposite of non-flammable cooking attire.

    1. I've got a couple of ideas "cooking" (hahaha! I love bad puns.) Feel free to take some ideas from mine.

    2. It's a race! I have a slight advantage because I have a black and white kitty...only 50% of the fur will show up. Lilly is your downfall! (Of course I still have an orange and white cat and his fur is somehow much more potent.)

    3. Thank you for Blogging about my tutu dress!! This dress has received SO much attention! I made for my niece. Her big brother was being a character from Star Wars and she wanted to be one too. Normally, I do very girly costumes, so this was off the beaten path for me. I'm glad you like it! I am currently in the works of figuring out how I can adjust my technique to suit adult sizes.
