14 Exquisite Paper Sculptures

by Megan S.

by Jeff Nishinaka

I've always thought the tradition of giving paper products on the first anniversary sounded a little goofy.  Sure, stationary is nice but... really?  It's not that exciting.  Of course, that was before I stumbled across papercrafting.  Creating two and three dimensional images with paper is unbelievably difficult; the material is delicate and unforgiving.  I can barely cut a straight line when I'm following the line drawn on the paper so folding, bending, and cutting sheets to produce these exquisite creations is just mind blowing.

See more of the best papercrafting after the jump.

  2. Holy crap those are amazing. The lighted castle is definitely magnificent, but my favorite is the forest in the book with the castle.

    1. Are you a fan of The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe? Because the one you like is Narnia. Notice the little lamppost? If you click on Su Blackwell's name below the image, you'll see she has a whole collection of neat ones.
