Well, this just happened.  A website popped up, PotterMoreregistered to Christopher Little Literary Agency.  The agency is, according to Wikipedia, the driving force behind JK Rowling's works becoming a multi-million dollar industry.  Website Trademarkia claims Warner Brother owns the trademark Pottermore.

So, what is it?

HPANA has this to say, "This editor has seen a sneak preview of Pottermoreopens in new window and it is breathtaking in scope, detail and sheer beauty.  Unfortunately that's all I'm allowed to say right now, but rest assured there will be more news soon and we'll bring it to you as it happens!"

Does the literary agency connection point to a new book about Harry Potter's children?  Does the Warner Brothers connection mean another theme park?  Just what does Joanne have up her sleeve?

Give us your guesses in the comments!

  2. More books! More books! More books! (Ahem. That's my wish, anyway.)

  3. Books, please! Lots and lots of them! But "breathtaking in scope, detail and sheer beauty" doesn't sound like a platform promoting new books. Maybe it's some kind of interactive Potter-thingy? Anyway, as long as it includes written words, I'm happy. So exciting!

  4. My friend who works at Sony (with the division that puts out Everquest) said that Warner Brothers was trying to make a similar game based around Harry Potter. That it would sort of be a World of Warcraft type thing. It was a few years ago when he told me about it, though. So I don't know if that's what PotterMore is about. It's just the first thing that came to mind.

I'd much rather it be more books!
