Dragon Knit/Crochet Projects for the Game of Thrones Finale

by Sara N.

The Game of Thrones season finale airs tonight, and I'm just as bummed as you are. Those 10 episodes went waaaaay too fast! Thank Baelor that the show's already been renewed for a second season, although it's going to be a long year before for the next batch hits the airwaves.

To make your wait less painful, why not craft something in honor of your new favorite show? Stellar Four has already suggested a number of wolf-related projects to show your loyalty to House Stark. And now you can keep yourself busy with these dragon-related knit and crochet projects. House Targaryen forever!

This dragon scarf is sadly not fireproof, so be careful if your dragon starts spitting flame.

The tail on this hat will look great whipping in the wind when you go dragon joy-riding.

Dragon bookends! (Seriously, I love this project and may just be whipping some up to cover the dull bookends in my office. Like, starting tonight. I'll be the envy of my office mates!)

Dragon socks to keep your scaly toes toasty.

Everybody's favorite project, the washcloth. So fast, so satisfying.

There are so many dragon toys out there, you don't even know. This website has a number of cute ones, including this purple fella.

Don't forget about your crocheted dragon options, like this cutie.

How astounding is this dragon shawl? This is far, far beyond my skill and patience level, but maybe someday ...

Oh, the joy you could bring to your family if you could entertain them with this hand puppet!

A playful dragon hat for the child in your life.

This table runner will be excellent at your next medieval feast. Try not to spill any mead on it!

I'll see you in 2012, Game of Thrones fans!

  1. Okay, when I first saw that top picture, I was pretty sure that was a dragon thong. I was like, "Heck yea... oh. :(" Because I would so buy a dragon thong.

What? Why are you all looking at me that way?

  3. it would be amazing if it could be converted to crochet, probly fillet lace would work best.
